Powder Blue MLB Unis Are Making a Comeback

By Chris Mottram

Maybe it's 80s day for The Sporting Blog. First, Phil Collins, now, powder blue uniforms.

Both the Royals and Blue Jays are breaking out the baby blues next season. The last team that was man enough to rock the powder was Kansas City in '91. There was a reason for that. Namely, that they're ugly:

No word on weather or not neckbeards, stirrups, and elastic waistbands will become mandatory for the Jays and Royals.

While baseball's at it, they should totally make the Astros spend an entire season in their beautiful throwbacks. There are no less than eight different colors represented in that jersey.
