Great blog and nice info, robins! Those rosters look pretty good and its tough to say which one will be better. The Olympics(both winter and summer) are things that I get into. I like the hockey matchups especially.
Yeah, it was sad about Dungy’s son. I wish him well and I hope him and his family can get through this rough time.
The Pats are going to be tough come playoff time. We all know what they are capable of, and teams better be watching out for them.
I was a big fan of the Good, the bad, and the Ugly! I am glad to see it back on the TSN Blog Airwaves! It gets my vote for highest rated late night show on TSN!
Well, I’m signing off. If I don’t hear from you again before Sunday, have yourself a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

first and foremost, peace and well wishes to the Dungy family, that’s a terrible loss…..
boy Like I said, you get a team with one knockout G between the pipes and it’s trouble from the start and with Kiprisoff and Lehtonen between the pipes that’s exactly what the Fins got! The Fins have a decent lineup and probably could peak to about 3rd off of the skating talent, but their netminders are tip top, and could seriously carry most any team! I like Seden’s team a lot, and overall talent is right there or maybe a notch below the Canadians, but I’m a little suspect on their goaltenders… good young promising players, but not in the same class as Finland or Canada, or the Czechs… I am not that familiar with Liv, so he could be the “x” factor for them, he may susprise. The Czechs look loaded to the gills! Hasek and Vokoun coudl win a tournament on their own, and the defensemen are solid, and they’ve got a good mix of veteran and younger emerging stars on offense.
After seeing the rosters of the Swedes Amerians, Canadians, Fins and the Czechs (great work providing this info too!) I’d have to say the Canadians are still my fave, with the Czechs lose behind, and if Sweden gets an inspred performance out of one of their netminders their roster is loaded and could easily take care of the rest. Now I’m itching to see what the Russians roll out, I can only imagine how stout it’ll be… Actually the Swedes team reminds me of a Russian team ove rthe last 15-20 years, loaded to the top on talent but really could stand to have just a tick above what they got for a goalie…. Anyway, should be interesting and yet another great blog!
