Redskins Players Are Weird, Not Funny

Chris Cooley, bless his little heart, tries so hard to be funny. Which is disappointing for me, as a Redskins fan, because he used to actually be funny. But lately, not so much. This is due mostly in part to the series of “Vladimir” videos on his blog. Vladimir is basically just Cooley’s brother, Tanner, doing a marginally accurate Borat impersonation, which, even if done perfectly, was pretty much played out about two years ago.

In the latest edition of “Vladimir,” the Cooley brothers unfortunately bring Clinton Portis in on the act as they go Ram hunting. Chris would be the one in the mask. Prepare to cringe:
Cooley’s blog is actually quite enjoyable when he sticks to writing about the games and the team. You know, actual football stuff. But between this and Cooley’s penis/playbook slip up, maybe this blogging thing is a bad idea for Chris. If nothing else, it’s making it hard for me to maintain creepy levels of man-love for a guy who, on the field, can do no wrong by me.
