Tim Tebow's Prayer Answered

I'm not a party to Tim Tebow's morning grace over toast and protein, but it's reasonable to assume asking for protection from death or serious injury at the hands of LSU monster Ricky Jean-Francois was mentioned somewhere in there.

Prayer answered: ESPN.com's Chris Low reports Jean-Francois didn't make the trip to Gainesville. Jean-Francois, you may recall, asserted earlier this week LSU's D-line would spend Saturday night trying to knock Tebow out of the game, and likened a prospective hit from the Tigers to a "car wreck without a safety belt."

Jean-Francois later backed off the threat, but whatever: he wanted to hurt Tebow, but divine intervention interrupted that plan. I guess saving babies and putting a McCain/Plain sticker on your wagon avoiding sin works out sometimes.

I guess Ricky was too busy focusing on trash talk he forgot to worry about staying healthy to fulfill said trash talk.

Can’t the author keep politics out of this? Tebow has said that he doesn’t want to get involved with politics by endorsing anyone. So how why can’t the writer do the same? Stick to sports. Good grief. And besides how does the writer know what Tebow thinks? Is he a mind-reader?
