Everything on this planet is soon going to disappear into a massive black hole. Each Monday, we’ll present those football-related elements that have already been swallowed into the abyss.
But more importantly than that, it was announced Sunday that his wife is pregnant with their second child. This is exciting news to us for pretty much one reason: It gives us an excuse to post a photo of his wife, former Playmate Carmella DeCesare, in her ill-fitting bikini top. Garcia wins football games by day, and goes home to that by night. It’s okay to be jealous.
Competition for Best NFL Celebration, ’08. Everyone else can give up now, because you will not see a more hilarious celebration on the football field this season than what Redskins LB Marcus Washington did yesterday:
Dan Orlovsky’s ESPY for Best Play. Filing in for the injured Jon Kitna, third-year QB Dan Orlovsky did a decent job. He threw for 150, a TD and no picks, and did enough to give the Lions a much-needed win over the Vikings, had the officials not handed the game to Minnesota on the worst pass interference call you will ever see. The call led to a last-second game-winning field goal for the Vikings.
But before any of that could go down, Orlovsky made this awesomely stupid play. Apparently, the endzones were five yards wider at UConn:
