R.I.P. New Kenny George Highlights

Kenny George, the 7'9 behemouth of UNC-Asheville, isn't so much a human highlight reel as he is an incredibly unique specimen who happens to be extremely compelling on video and in person. As I said, George is 7'9. News of a serious foot injury had spread for the last month, but the truth about George's foot is worse: part of George's foot has been amputated, and his basketball career appears to be over, according to the Asheville Citizen-Times.

Of course, George's fame wasn't necessarily tied to success. The most infamous highlight of Kenny's career comes with the giant's head hanging after this jam by Tyler "Psycho T" Hansbrough.

George seems like a well-rounded cat with a good support system. Losing basketball is awful, but losing the foot is worse. Here's to hoping he gets healthy and leads a personally fulfilling life that doesn't involve insane(ly dorky) white kids dunking on him.

The good news? If there was ever a guy on Earth who could afford to lose a foot….

What a sick dunk. I’ve probably watched that replay 50+ times and even if Tyler did travel, it’s just plain nasty.

So a guy has to get part of his foot amputated and can never play basketball again. Haha, what a funy story. You know what would make it even better? Showing one of the many times someone faster then him blew by him and dunked it. Oh there it is, you did do it. Is this the Sporting News or goheels.com? Get some class, ass.
