Goal Post Makes Stunning Tackle

I've always maintained that the first play of the game sets the tone for the entire game. Perhaps a revision is long due: the first thing that happens when the team takes the field determines the tone for the game, as this certainly did leading into Iowa State's 35-7 loss to the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday:

I don't know if a smoke machine alone could have put out that much smoke; either they're burning leaves in the back end of the tunnel to get that effect, or the team bus is revving for all its worth to get that kind of London Fog to belch from the mouth of the entrance, or Ricky Williams stopped by to reminisce about his glory days in the Big 12 with his close friends the 3-6 Mafia. Either way, you can't endorse something as silly as reducing the amount of smoke: that would be surrendering to the elements, and would cut down on the sheer amount of ROCK at Iowa State.

The obvious solution? Set the goalposts on fire with a lighter and a generous coating of hairspray to make sure they're visible to players exiting the tunnel. Trust me: that will take care of everything.
