Other Than Everything, It's All Good in Dallas

The Cowboys have been on a whirlwind media tour assuring the world that everything's hunky dorey in Dallas after some dissension between Terrell Owens and Tony Romo earlier this week.
↵
↵Everything's fine, except for, um, Owens. According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, T.O. and Jason Witten had to be separated in a locker room altercation Friday. The fight happened after the team held a kumbaya session in the morning. Glad that worked as desired, Wade Phillips.
↵
↵Actually, according to reporting from the Star-Telegram, the unease goes beyond T.O. and his personal spats. Terence Newman called out his coaches for passing the buck. ↵
↵⇥"When coaches make mistakes around here, there is nothing said about it," Newman said. "They just go and usually try to defuse that and try to put that blame on somebody else. That is one thing that's hurting us as a team, players not owning up to it as well as coaches."
↵⇥
↵⇥Later on Friday afternoon, Newman said, "If you preach accountability, I think you should at least adhere to. I wanted to make sure I stated that. If you are going to make sure you have to be accountable for this and that, you have to hold yourself to those standards. If you make a mistake, don't try to put it on anybody else. Say you made a mistake — 'That's my bad' — and go forward." ↵
↵Sounds like everything in Dallas is juuust perfect. If the Cowboys lose at home to a limping, short-handed Giants team in what is basically a must win ... well, next week just might be even more fun.↵
