No matter what level of success 49ers tight end Vernon Davis goes on to realize during his NFL career, he will never, ever be able to recover from the tongue-lashing he received from Joey Porter yesterday. After Davis broke Big Peezy’s strict “you keep my name out your mouth” rule during the week, the two exchanged these pleasantries on the field, as overheard by FOX’s Chris Myers (via FanHouse):
Porter: You're not even in the scouting report.“You're the best at being ugly,” ripped directly from the pages of Your Face Is Stupid: How to Insult Like a Third-Grader. The lack of a proper, one-upping rebuttal from Davis clearly shows that he has yet to read Your Momma Is an Astronaut and Other Put-Downs for Sixth Grade and Beyond.Davis: I'm the best at everything.
Porter: You're the best at being ugly.
It’s also worth noting that Davis is not only the best at being ugly, but also the best at being an overrated fantasy football tight end option every single season. Not that I’m bitter or anything.
