"If I got a gun I got one bullet in it, I shoot T.O. right now. Right on the spot. I have a press conference my first day they hire me, I have him come, I put a bullet right there sitting in him."Certainly, Carter is referring to metaphorical bullets and would never actually shoot T.O. But if he’s going to, might we suggest not calling a press conference for the occasion.

Finally, a Cris Caret platform! How long I’ve waited! OK…does Carter EVER know what camera to look at when he is on TV?? Why is he always looking off to the side?? What is he looking at?? Does anyone bother to tell him, or is it one of those “Ron Burgundy will read anything on the teleprompter” situations? Maybe someone is telling him to look at the wrong camera just to crack up the production crew.

Was Plaxico going to be his gun dealer? Seriously, I am a Cowboys fan and I do not feel T.O. has much left to offer the Cowboys, but Carter really made himself look intelligent with this comment. Think before you speak, no matter how much you dislike someone.

If another player would pull the trigger he’d get off with the insanity plea.

I AM NOT SAYING SHOOT THE MAN, BUT THE COWBOYS AND EVERY OTHER TEAM IN THE NFL WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITHOUT T. O. I HAVE BEEN A COWBOY FAN FOR A LONG TIME AND WHEN THEY WERE LOSING THEY DID NOT HAVE AS MUCH TROUBLE AS THEY HAVE NOW THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO WIN. THE BIG GUNS, TROY, ROGER AND RANDY ARE PROBABLY SICK WITH THE MESS MR. JONES HAS GOT THEM INTO. MAYBE T.O. AND PLAYERS LIKE PACKMAN ARE NOT THE REASON. COULD IT BE THAT MR. JONES IS? COWBOY44

I’m no T.O. fan but this was not appropriate.
We live in a country where gun violence is a real concern.
Bad move , Carter. Next time think before you’re flip about something so serious.

Most of the anylists for ESPN are dunderheaded morons, starting with Chris " Overloaded Mouth" Berman and Tony Kornhole. I don’t watch much on ESPN aymore because of the idiots and the moronic trash that comes out of the mouths of so-called college graduates. Maybe they are all related to Maurice Clarett!

Totally agree with Carter on this one. We all know it was just B.S. he would never do such a thing but, maybe, just maybe, its the thing to do. The guy is just a moronic crybaby and ruins every team he is on. GO CRIS!

I agree with Carter completely. Owens is a total stain and he destroys teams wherever he goes. I would definitely like to see him get shot. Wait…metaphorically? Oh, well, one can dream. And for all of you Nancies out there that shudder at the thought of gun violence…I really hope you don’t support rap in any way, because that kind of hipocrisy would be too perfect. People die as a result of gun violence very often. I say let’s direct those bullets at the people that stain our culture just as often through the media. The sooner the world is able to forget that Terrell Owens exists, the better. He isn’t the biggest jerk in all of sports, but he is certainly in the running. That is saying a lot about his character, because he is competing with some pretty bad criminals for that title. It takes a special kind of jerk to earn a spot with criminals when you aren’t a criminal yourself.

Ummm, I’m only going to post this once, if that’s OK….
T.O. in my book stands for Terribly Overrated. Yes, conduct detrimental to the NFL, you name it.
But that said, I’ve got to go back to what Chris Berman always said about Carter: "Cris Carter—all he does is catch touchdowns." Why ESPN then turned around and hired him as a commentator is beyond me.

TO should reply "He’d be right to shoot me… I’ve been banging his wife."

Damn, I’m going to miss that circus in Dallas now that their season has come to a halt, no more drama in the news regarding the Dallas Cowgirls! What a pathetic bunch from the selfish players that are about stats to the lack in leadership Coaches to one of the worst GM/Owners Jerry Jones, good riddens!

If there is any justice at all, he’d turn the gun on himself afterwards…
