This Story Actually Came From the Sports Section

By Chris Mottram

What you are about to read is an exact excerpt from a well-known newspaper (although names have been omitted to make this more fun):

With one quick, calculated motion, [Man A] grabs [Man B’s] right leg, lifts it up and slams [Man B] back onto a cushioned mat. [Man A] then slides on top of [Man B], pins him by his legs, and sounds like a snake as he delivers quick blows to the desired target.

Hiss. Hiss. Hiss.

[Man A] is pounding his elbow into a blocker pad sitting on [Man B’s] chest.
"Really get into it!" shouts [the instructor]. "Faster! Faster! Come on! Hammer him!"

[Man A] obliges, and the slightest smile creeps on his sweaty, determined face as he hisses away.

We’ll stop right there before it gets too sexy and let you follow this link to figure out exactly where this came from.

A great blog to for you to kick off the New Year with, robin!

That was great to see Flutie with the dropkick at the end of that game! He was a guy that I have always liked and I wish him well, if he does call it a career.

Alot of pink slips handed out in the NFL coaching ranks. Not really surprised by the ones who have been let go so far. I agree that Capers will probably get his soon, too.

Clarett has got major issues. He needs to turn his life around and do that pretty quickly. I don’t know how long it will take for that to happen, if at all.

Have fun at the Bruins game, today! I will talk at you later!

The coaches firing ritual should also have included MArty Schottenheimer whose Chargers underachieved to a 9-7 season, even though they played an amazingly tough schedule.
