The Rays Turn it Up to 11 at Spring Training

By Chris Mottram

Please believe that these spring games aren't meaningless to the Tampa Bay Rays. I suppose this little collision could fall under the category of "when keepin' it real goes wrong":

That was some guy named Elliot Johnson drilling some other guy named Francisco Cervelli, and breaking guy No. 2's wrist in the process. But hey, thems the breaks. I'm sure this Johnson dude is just trying to make the squad, and if that means he has to dismantle another human being, then so be it. Especially when said human is on the Yankees.

Ripping on Marshawn Lynch is nothing but sour grapes from a Standfurd weenie like you. I’m sure your cozy upbringing, sipping chardonnay with Biff and Muffy didn’t prepare you for the trials and tribulations guys like Marshawn and Leon Powe have lived in their lives. They may not speak the King’s English, but they are good young men who are respectful and work as hard as they can to excel. If you want to see an embarassment that would push the CAL side of the argument, it is that atrocious congolmeration of mutants and creatures that masquerade as a band on your adobe hut campus.

Oh, and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (with the Axe still safely residing where it BELONGS…)
