Bruce Pearl Gets Awesome at the SEC Tournament

Coming to you live from press row at the SEC tourney and thus far the vibe's convivial and super-casual, even for the coaches. I looked behind me to see who was bumping my chair, and turned around to see Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl. Little known and very cool fact about Pearl: If you ask him to point at the camera and "just look awesome," he will do so without any hesitation and go back to talking cheerfully to anyone who'll listen:

The die-hards that are in the house seem to be enjoying this clash of two 13-17 teams. “DAAAAAANG!!” is all I heard from the Gamecocks fan behind me when LSU denied a basket. You could hear the Joe Dirt interjection all the way in the upper deck, because as with most SEC tournaments, there's no one in said upper deck:

The members of the media, however, remain relatively unenthused as a whole. Fear not: There's always Bill Murray DVD watching to tide you over until your team's game later tonight:
