Rangers' Sean Avery Penalized for Hooking

Could you describe what it felt like to find out Kristin Davis got busted?

I won't profess to know much about hockey. And I won't comment on hookers. But it's always exciting -- and tough for the young gentleman in question, of course -- when a professional athlete gets busted for visiting a lady of the very late evening.

Sean Avery, who apparently skates a lot and does it pretty decently, has been described as "mercurial", an "antagonist" and "not a great scorer" (snicker). And now it appears he may also be described as "allegedly having paid for sex on multiple occasions." Guess which one's the worse compliment.

The weird thing is that Avery has apparently been tied to Elisha Cuthbert and Rachael Hunter in terms of famous ladies he's dated, so you kind of have to wonder why the mess he's going out and paying for something he seems to get for free -- at a much higher quality too, I might add.

Miss Cuthbert is one of the "interview" subjects that Rangerland was able to pull "quotes" from too, and you can tell that she's not that shocked by this development.

The development I would like to see, though, is one of these athletes/celebrities/famous people getting busted paying for sex and then writing it off to an addiction to sex. We always see people getting grief for substance abuse and then get right back off the hook when they claim addiction; the same goes for gambling; why hasn't someone pawned themselves off as a sex addict yet? Oh, and Sean, feel free to send my check for attorney's fees rendered to 123 Fake Street, Loblawville, NC.
