Aw, snap, The Sporting Blog done got a makeover! Yes, my friends, after sixth months of using what was more or less a rich man’s message board as SN’s official blog, we now have a site we can really call home. And ain’t she pretty? (Please say “yes”.)
Now, we are fully aware that there are still some issues, as you may notice. First off, the tagging has a mind of its own (my favorite would be the random “Miami Project to Cure Paralysis” tag. A noble cause, to be certain, but it doesn’t seem to have much to do with Chris Paul). Second, commenting seems to not be working properly, so if you plan on bashing the new TSB, your thoughts may or may not show up below. Give it a shot though. Finally, there are a few style/visual things, but nothing major, so I won’t even point them out to you.
Speaking of commenting, we realize that it is currently a massive pain to leave comments, unless you already have a SN member name. We promise this is being addressed. Believe me, I want your comments, and if it was up to your humble editor, there would be no “process” whatsoever. But thems the breaks when working for The Man.
Other “revolutionary” features you may notice around TSB 2.0 (that’s tech speak, it’s no big deal): Text wrap!, Jump feature!!, Real blockquotes!!!, Blogroll!!!! Innovative, no doubt.
So please, enjoy, and click that little “Contact The Sporting Blog” link to the right to send us feedback.
UPDATE: The RSS is not working with the new site. It's been added to the list and should be up and running shortly (we hope).
