Site News: Draft Blogness; Easier Commenting

Once again, we’ve managed to convince Sporting News to use their hard-earned money to send one of our own – Spencer Hall – to a major sporting event. This time, it’s the NFL Draft. Alright, so the draft isn’t really a “sporting event,” in so much as no sports are played during it, but it is an event nevertheless. ↵

↵And it’s a loooong event. No matter how many beers and chicken wings you have laid out in front of you, they won’t be enough to occupy your idle hands during the two full days of draftasticness, so why not open the laptop and watch along with us. Spencer will be posting live from the Draft, with various mockeries of the fans, and SN columnist Vinnie Iyer will liveblog the thing, breaking down each and every pick as it happens. I’ll throw in my two cents from time-to-time, which will probably consist of bitching about the Redskins trading all their picks. So yeah, it should be fun. Or a train wreck. Or both. Either way, check in with TSB. ↵

↵

↵Also worth mentioning is that it is now much, much easier to sign up for an SN account, which allows you to comment all you want on this here blog. In other words, you no longer need to sign your life away to get an account. So please, GO HERE and get yourself an account. Seriously, please, for the love of god, do it. See, what I’m doing here is literally begging for more comments. We enjoy interaction. As long as it’s via the internet and never, ever face-to-face. ↵
