Mel Kiper Is Legend

At the beginning, there were many. Here at the end, there is only one survivor going strong: Kiper, who according to a publicist did the whole show yesterday, was here early today, will do ESPN radio tonight until midnight, and then will be doing television all day tomorrow as well. (Endurance athletes take note: hair gel may very well be a performance-enhancing chemical.)

In between screening film of a dynamite middle school corner out of Dayton he's sizing up for the 2017 draft and signing a few autographs, Mel was kind enough to point and look awesome. And like the distracted dog in a family photograph, Mel then saw something shiny and looked away.

In all fairness, that shiny thing he saw was a dynamite tight-end/h-back hybrid out of Minnesota Southern no one's even thought about taking yet. Real value in the fifth round for the taking, according to Mel.
