Game 5 Suspensions Possible for Celtics, Hawks

Just in case you didn't think Cetics/Hawks was the craziest thing since flying cars and talking dogs, it could be about get even crazier.

The Boston Globe, apparently looking to get burned to the ground, broaches the possibility of Game Five suspensions stemming from what occurred in the video above:
Replays showed Garnett shoving referee Ed Rush, and Perkins and Williams went on the floor from the bench, which usually means an automatic one-game suspension.

"I don't know anything about it," said Celtics guard Ray Allen, who had a team-high 21 points. "I'm sure if there is some relevance, then we're going to have to deal with it."
My two cents: Perk is definitely coming out on the floor, and had to be restrained. Williams might be a tougher call—he kind of just looks like he's trying to get a better view. But I guess that rule is hard and fast, no, and makes no allowances for intent? As for Garnett, Fan IQ has another angle, so let's get out our Zapruder costumes and go to town. I can't imagine Stern having the brass orbs to suspend Garnett, given what he means to the league, and how much hell Stern caught for making Stoudemire sit out in last year's Spurs/Suns series.

PLAYOFF BASKETBALL!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!

A) Classic European flop after KG’s shake-off elbow.

B) Leon Powe should have entered that fray with a right cross, and then allow himself to be struck by the Hawks best player.

C) This series reminds me of the Boston/Washington series (pl) when I was a kid. A less talented team staying in it by playing physical. McFilthy and McNasty.

D) If Johnny Most were still alive, he’d pwn YouTube right now.
