Former President Andrew Jackson was mentioning at the end of the clip that if the Steinbrenner family sold the Yankees, the value of the franchise would be much greater than $ 1 million, which is what George Steinbrenner bought the Yankees for in the early 70’s from CBS. You’re talking at least a 1000 time return on your investment after 35 years, and I think that’s the point he was trying to make. So while Mr. Gammons might be going senile, this clip is not Exhibit A.
