Jim Edmonds Got His Groove Back

With just nine at-bats and two hits as a Cub, the jury is still out on whether or not signing Jim Edmonds was a good move. All Cubs fans seemed to hate it when it went down, but based on the league minimum salary they’re paying him and unbelievable, old-school Edmonds catches like this, maybe things will be alright:

Although with the Cubs tied for most wins in baseball, and having won eight of their last 10 games, it would probably be difficult for Chicago fans to find much to complain about.

That catch was awesome but I’m not sold on his signing with the Cubs. Edmonds was not signed for his bat…he was signed for his glove and the HOPE that his bat wakes up…with that being said I say we should have stuck with Pie.
