Because posting about Madden 09 every day is really something more reserved for when FC is off, swimming with water wings on its own, we've saved up some of the best news and video from the last few days and lumped into one post of goodness.
And what better place to start then some visuals from Madden 09. This latest look comes courtesy of Shutdown Corner. We get our first chance to listen in on Cris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond as commentators, but we also get our first look at the "Rewind" function in action.
I'm just not at all a fan of the "Rewind" capability. I suppose I'd appreciate it if I was playing a friend who I knew was capable of thumping me, but I'd rather just play the game. My stance continues to be no harm, no foul, since it's not being forced onto players.
In other news, the mysterious "holographic interface" was finally explained thanks to Gamespot, which got some hands-on time with the game. As it turns out, the feature is just a virtual reality trainer. Check out Gamespot's piece for a more in-depth look at their time with the game.
And lastly, after the jump, check out who won second annual Rookie Madden Bowl, which took place in Santa Monica.
