FirstCuts: RBI Baseball Set To Return

What was old will be new again and what was once awesome will probably seem cool for the first few minutes, only to become sort of boring. That's right, RBI Baseball has been added to the ESRB site, meaning we're likely to see it released on the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console with other classic games.

And while we're on the topic of classic sports titles, an update is here on the latest iteration of Tecmo Bowl. As I wrote a while back, a new version -- sans Bo Jackson -- is headed to the Nintendo DS. Now, it would appear the same game will make its way to the Nintendo Wii, too. The downside, according to Kotaku, is that we won't see it until 2009. Also, still no Bo Jackson.

If you're lucky enough to have a Nintendo DS, check out the latest screens for the new Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff. OK, I'll say it, it just doesn't feel right, does it?

Update: After the jump, check out video of the new Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff, courtesy of Leitch and Deadspin.
