Today, I've got a column up that details the Hawks' impending doom. Sometimes, truth is quicker than writing. As if on cue, Billy Knight has declared that he'll step down, effective July 1.

really the only major knock on him will be selecting marvin williams ahead of paul and deron and also the selection of shelden williams. josh smith was a steal, childress is a top 3 6th man(behind man and maybe barbosa), joe johnson trade sure looks good now, and horford is a beast. marvin has even developed into a good player and at the time was the unquestioned most talented player in the draft and the hawks would’ve been mocked for passing on him.
