Those shoes are an exact copy of the old KB8, one of the most painful shoes to ever grace my feet.

Greatest shoe of my lifetime the original Nike Air Maestro. They actually were in a commercial hawked by John Stockton.

Yeah, they’re now called the adidas Top Ten 2000 because Kobe obviously no longer rocks the Three Stripes. Also gone are the FYW days and the little face that looked like a foot logo.

I loved my Buster Browns with the extra cookie arches but in.

Jordan 4s…nice, nice shoes.

At only 18 years old, my sneaker jones is a far cry from other more established collectors and aficionados. My quiver is devoid of limited edition Air Force 1s and beleaguered suede Jordan Vs. I get by on slept on models that bring a fresh a fresh look to the table. My favorite shoe is the ‘06-’07 And1 Franchise. At a listed retail of something like $75, they were cheap enough for me to afford, and I’ve found a couple of sweet sample and Player Exclusive pairs on eBay since. While the Franchise was a fairly marginal performer on the hardwood, I covet it because it forever altered the way I looked at design. With its intricately stitched upper, odd proportions, exaggerated midsole, and sweet fade treatment, the shoe seemed and still seems so different from any shoe I have seen. To me, the Franchise is a pinnacle of awesome design, a completely alluring package of materials and aesthetics.

By the way, if you don’t see your member name next to your comment, don’t trip. We’re still able to figure out who you are. Just ignore the black helicopters. Try filling out some info in your profile. It might correct the problem if you’ve just signed up to comment on TSB and haven’t used anything on the site before. If your post shows up blank, it could be from weird characters, returns or pasting from Word.

My favorite sneaker of all time are the Jordan V’s. My favorite Adidas sneaker of all time is those Adidas John Stark wore with the wire on them I can’t remember the name of them though.

Oh man, those are just like the KB8’s. “If I could play in bare feet, I would”. Yeah, you probably woulda got fewer blisters in bare feet than you did with those shoes.

Fav shoe: Air Jordan XI. Spats on a basketball shoe? Yes please. Plus it Mike rocked it on his first great comeback so it has added historical value.

Second pick: Air More Uptempo. Just in case you forgot what shoe you were wearing Nike was kind enough to slap “AIR” on the side in ridiculously huge letters.

The Air Jordan III was/is/and always will be the G. O. A. T. The style, the look, the feel….the best, hands down like six thirty.

My favorite shoes of all time are hands down the Reebok Questions. I have probably bought 5 different pairs at 3 different times in my life. I was 12 or 13 when they first came and I just loved. I bought again in college and again last summer. I am a sucker for them.

Give me Jordan IV’s any day, but i just got the new Reebok Big Papi Trainers and they are pretty sick too.

by AC14 on Jun 12, 2008 8:18 AM EDT reply actions

I am going to agree with several others and say the Jordan IV’s.

by dsnash on Jun 12, 2008 8:43 AM EDT reply actions

Am I the only one who still loves a pair of the old style Converse. They haven’t changed since before I was born and they are still awesome.

I love old style Coverse, but the only shoe I ever really coveted was Roos.

by cubsandfins on Jun 12, 2008 1:28 PM EDT reply actions

Old school Jordan’s always come to mind – but the hype surrounding Kobe’s shoe when it first came out was memorable to me, at least in our area.

by ryanlode on Jun 12, 2008 1:34 PM EDT reply actions

My favorite shoes of all time? oh man, that’s tough. There’s so many to choose from.
Air Jordan III’s…Air Jordan 16’s….Air Jordan V’s….Nike Air Force III’s…chuck taylor all stars…and so many more.

But, to narrow it down to one? Gotta go with the JORDAN III’s.

I never owned a pair growing up (I was 11 when the O.G’s dropped) but my father got me a pair as a gift off of EBAY last year (the 07 retros…fire red/white. FIRE!) and they’re really, as most of your surely know, amazing.

BTW: If I win this particular contest…I need a pair of size 15’s ;) (yes, I have huge feet)

The nike kobe3 with its unusual style and litness It is a shoe that glides on the court. Especially if you had a foot operation you will really appreciate these

by hdogg523 on Jun 12, 2008 7:54 PM EDT reply actions

I’ll take those free shoes! thanks and I’d have to go with Jordan III’s…..classic.

by Stach1J on Jun 12, 2008 11:53 PM EDT reply actions

my fave has got to be the question from reebok. the “hive” bubble and classic understated color scheme made these instant wood and concrete court favorites.

by Tonka8 on Jun 13, 2008 2:19 AM EDT reply actions

My favorite shoe?
My first ones I bought myself. The Nike Barkley Force Max B. I remember I got them at discount from a friend that worked at Footlocker. I wore them out before I tossed them.

These Adidas are one of the most classic designed shoes. Glad to see them being retroed. However, my favorite shoe is the Air Jordan IV
