FirstCuts: Strahan To Appear On NBC's Chuck

As we already know, Michael Strahan is starting his post-football TV career with FOX. But what about his career as a fictional character? According to the Star-Ledger, Strahan already has filmed a spot on the NBC comedy/drama (or dramady, if you will) Chuck.
"When the cameras rolled, Michael was really, really funny," said Josh Schwartz, the show's creator and executive producer. "Everyone on the set was completely blown away. Broadcasting or acting, he's got a future."

In the episode, slated to air on Oct. 20, Strahan plays the manager of the Mighty Jock sporting goods store in the mall where Chuck and his co-stars work.

Although the plan was for a one-time cameo, Schwartz told the Star-Ledger that bringing back Strahan's character, Mitt, isn't out of the question.

(Oh, and if you thought for a second I was going to post a picture of Michael Strahan instead of Yvonne Strahovski, who plays Sarah Walker on Chuck, then you were sorely mistaken.)

Well thank god you chose that picture instead.

Just when you thought they had a good show going they had to go and ruin it with Strahan.

The real mistake was writing Rachel Bilson out of the show. Shame!

Wait, Rachel Bilson was on Chuck? Now I’m just embarrassed that I’d never heard of it.
