Cover art isn’t available at the moment from 2K Sports, hence the NBA 2K9 logo slapped onto an AP photo of the Big Ticket.
Last season, 2K Sports made an extremely progressive choice by picking Hornets point guard Chris Paul for the cover of NBA 2K8. This year's edition will hit stores in October.
Paul finished second MVP voting this season to Kobe Bryant. The man who finished third -- and also won NBA Defensive Player of the Year -- was Garnett. A step back? What do you think? Should they have kept it more forward thinking and possibly gone for another young star on the rise or was it time to recognize KG for a great season with a contender?
