Let's just go on the assumption that the Nets are hell-bent on wooing LeBron. Here's an interesting debate: Does going after Jarvis Hayes and Eduardo Najera really strike you as the path to an endless future for the Nets?

I pray to the good lord that Cleveland does everything to ensure LeBron stays, including consulting with him on which way the team moves in free agency and trades.
In other words, make him a true franchise player. They can only look into their bank account to see what the guy has done for them, and I hope they can imagine what that bank account can look like without him.

actually the nets will look much more attractive than the cavs by the time e hits free agency. Yi and Brook Lopez should be a nice pair of young big men, much better than a big ben and big z combo. devin harris will be a good point guard, better than delonte west. plus new jersey’s bench will be just as good if not better, the only reason they are worse than cleveland is because their star is vince carter not lebron but that could change
