Diamondbacks Catcher Wishes People Would Stop Busting His Balls, Literally

Well, that’s gonna leave a mark:
[Catcher Chris] Snyder suffered what was diagnosed as a left testicular fracture after he was struck by a foul ball off the bat of Corey Hart.
Okay, breathe. Breathe. Let it set in ...

Alright, a few thoughts here: 1) You can fracture your testicle? Do not want; 2) Clearly, cups these days just aren’t as protective as they once were; 3) This injury only landed Snyder on the 15-day DL.; 4) How do you treat a broken man-bit? Do you put it in a cast? Perhaps you just rub it with cold water like they do in soccer.; 5) This is the last time I’m asking you this, god: Why the hell is the most sensitive area on a man the least naturally protected? They’re just out there, exposed, begging for a hard spherical object to crush them.

Oh, also, a Yankee took a fastball right in the baby-maker the other day. Suddenly, god’s plan makes sense.

I don’t care what they say.. I’d rather throw my back out sneezing than cracking a testicle. It might be more manly to fracture a testicle playing baseball, but that isn’t the way I’d prefer to be de-maned
