Updated throughout the day with quick takes from staff.

Just a quick update straight from my inbox to you today on the status of the NCAA Football 09 patch that is supposed to fix issues with roster editing, depth charts and freezes related to said roster editing. It’s going to be delayed. (Runs and hides for cover, do not throw tomatoes at me.)
Yeah, the initial 5-10 days was what we thought originally. Turns out not to be the case. This is why I am VERY hesitant to give dates. That whole 5-10 days thing was posted all over the intrawebs, so people are expecting it any day now. That’s the message from EA’s Adam Thompson on the Operation Sports forums, via Fairdale-Kings.com. What does it all mean? If you’re one of the people waiting for some of the issues to be resolved, you’ll probably be waiting closer to the start of the real season. More updates on the great roster debacle as they become available.I guess there is just a lot of video games going through certification right now, so we are now estimating a 15 day lead time on patches. I think this roster bug patch is going to be out in the first week of August, which is a bummer. Sorry guys :(
