First, let’s get the particulars out of the way:
Emmitt Smith has been removed from
Sunday NFL Countdown and replaced by Cris Carter. This is sad news for anyone who appreciates butchery of the English language and the unintentional comedy it creates. Thankfully, though, Smith will continue to contribute to
Monday NFL Countdown and
SportsCenter throughout the season.
Emmitt kicked things off this morning by making his first ESPN appearance of the season, and, well, we still have no clue what in the hell he’s talking about, which bodes well for the coming months:
Remember, friends: “Some guys fall hard. Some guys learn how to fall. The guy that fall the hardest the most, is gonna be the guy to get hurt the most.” Words to live by.
And thank goodness someone finally put Romo’s off-the-field antics on blast. I’m sure Cowboys fans are so sick of the constant distractions caused by "he and his situation with Jessica Simpson, and so forth.” Parcells would never put up with players having girlfriends.

When I heard Emmitt Smith had been kicked off of the Sunday NFL show, my whole day was DEBACLED.
I mean, what’s better than watching the Dawgs play football on Saturday and then waking up to watch this excellent human representation of a University of Florida education DEBACLE the english language every time he opens his mouth?
Now, I’m going to have to DVR the Monday Night Football broadcasts, so I continue to make fun of the value of a University of Florida education.

Smith need not represent Florida with his vocabulary or intellect what he did on the field and in the NFL speaks volumes. Furthermore, I believe he learned most of his language from Michael Irving . . . did he not??

Yes we all know that at times Emmitt has a few Magic Johnson moments but sometimes it’s not how it’s said that matters but what is actually being said. Emmitt Smith has Hall of Fame Football experience and has a lot of knowledge to offer those in TV land.

If I’m not mistaken Emmitt Smith and oh yeah that idiot Patrick"who am I"Crayton also said this last year that Cowboys were good enough and were going to the Super Bowl! You would think that they would of learned from last year but obviously not. As for Emmitt not beeing part of the ESPN NFL Coundown crew, THANK GOD! All Emmitt does is talk smack about other Teams and HYPES anythng that has to do with his ex Team. Hey Emmitt have you heard of a HOMER and do you even know the meaning of the word BIAS, never mind you speak ebonics. Watching that video clip hearing Emmitt speak on Dallas chance of finally putting up not hyping it up was totally sickening, please people can Emmitt, ESPN and Cowboy Fan start giving the Cowboys respect when they start earning it and not crown them year in and year out? The only thing that Dallas is proven till this point is that they are the Bucs of the Post Dungy Era when every year they were favored to win the Super Bowl till they finally went out and actually won it against the Raiders, till then the Cowboys are and will be Paper Champions!
