Federer Loses Epic Match to Nadal, Enters McEnroe’s Death Grip of Awkwardness

If you watched yesterday’s Federer-Nadal Wimbledon final, you were treated to one of the greatest tennis matches of all-time. Or so I’ve been told. I was busy sitting in D.C.-area traffic, attempting to make my way back home to Charlotte. Surprisingly, following a tennis match on ESPN’s mobile web scoreboard is not as thrilling as watching it on television.

But enough of my bitching, because I can watch it all tonight on ESPN Classic at 7ET (no spoilers!), plus I was treated to this bit of awkward deliciousness this morning:

Hey, its tough to lose a match when youve been touted as the best of all-time. Especially when you keep losing to the same guy who is probably going the next “best of all-time.”
