FirstCuts: T-Mobile Foreshadows Favre's Return

(Mottram is still working out the demons in his computer, but regularly scheduled programming should return soon.)

Much like the movie I Am Legend predicting the outcome of the Super Bowl this past season, I believe I have found the sign of the next great NFL story in, of all things, a T-Mobile ad.

In the ad, people are saying "Hello" rather than "Goodbye," and most notably, Brett Favre is seen saying, "After 17 seasons, it's time for me to say 'Hello.'"

Because T-Mobile's tech crew did not deem it important enough to provide an embeddable video player, I can only provide that still shot and point you to their Web site to view the commercial.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to prepare the rest of Charlotte for the impending arrival of Favre as the team's new QB.

The more important question is where is our weekly dose of Carl?

They didn’t have him on this week ’cause of the holiday. Expect him back this week though.

Sadly, I think Carl took the week off from SNR because of the holiday. I will alert the crew and let ’em know he was missed.

A Holiday? Carl can’t celebrate a holiday! He probably took two months off after the Super Bowl!

You know very well that Carl was probably drunk on the Jersey Shore shooting off illegal fireworks in his finest pair of Zubaz pants. He gets a pass, but I’ve been informed he’s down for a return this week.
