Umm, came across this video (pictures even worse) yesterday. Holy Elbow Sockets Batman!!! That is one of the most disgusting sports injuries I’ve ever witnessed. You can see his body slightly convulse in pain right after it happens. Scary stuff.
I’m not sure that much stress is supposed to be put on a few inches of muscle tissue and ligaments. It is amazing the human body can even lift that much in the first place.
I wasn’t aware that they had a team of Human Shields waiting in the event that happens. That’s positive, but in the age of the Internet it’s pretty much pointless once its captured on video and makes its rounds on the Doubya Doubya Doubya (World Wide Web).
