Roy Williams is Extraordinarily Humble

ESPN has a celebrity fantasy football league, with top-shelf draws like Chris Mortensen and Method Man involved. Awful Announcing skewered the league's draft on Friday. Roy Williams escaped attack, though, for what should basically be an unforgiveable sin. Tell it, Detroit Free Press (via Pride of Detroit):
With the fifth pick in the fifth round of the ESPN Fantasy Draft Special on Thursday night, Lions receiver Roy Williams drafted ... well, Lions receiver Roy Williams.

Yes, Williams -- one of eight team owners and the only current player among them -- drafted himself. It should be noted that Williams drafted receivers in the two previous rounds: Dallas' Terrell Owens in the third and New Orleans' Marques Colston in the fourth.
That's somewhere between extremely confident and blinded by love of self ... not to mention a path to seriously bad fantasy football karma. Of course, Roy surely cares less about this league than we do about ours.

I can't wait until he has to make a decision on trading or benching himself. If the Saints come up against a bad defense, Williams has to start Colston over himself, right? Somehow, I don't see that happening.
