Bronco Busted for Scalping Obama Speech Tix

ProFootBallTalk has a story about sports-politics cross-pollination which is either hilarious or depressing, depending on your perspective. Members of the Broncos were apparently given free tickets for Sen. Barack Obama's big speech at Mile High next week. They came with the condition they could only be used by the player or his immediate family.

One unnamed Bronco immediately put his tickets on eBay. PFT says he was caught. There are no such auctions currently; I assume it's illegal or something to pawn off tickets to something like this.

It's good news in general that you could potentially make money off tickets to see a presidential candidate speak. It is a little unnerving that a man likely making high six-figures or more with such tickets in hand would immediately think to make a few bucks off them. (My money is on Mike Shanahan, by the way.)
