Last night, NC State QB Russell Wilson took a horrendous shot to the head from a South Carolina defender. He crumpled to the ground, did not move, and thus began one of those queasy, interminable, and horrible moments where both teams kneel, pray, and just hope one of their own hasn't lost the ability to walk.

↵ The crowd fell silent, and after a tense stretch of minutes the medical staff put Wilson on a backboard, loaded him on the injury cart, and took him to the locker room. As he left, Wilson gave the thumbs up sign to show he was OK. ↵
↵↵ One South Carolina fan gave him not one, but two fingers in response: ↵

↵↵ He's telling him he's number one -- twice! Yes, that's precisely what's going on here. Wilson has a grade-three concussion, and is undergoing further tests at the hospital in Columbia. The South Carolina fan is a grade-one douchebag, for which there is no treatment or cure. ↵
