Molina Learns the Hard Way Not to Be on the Tracks When the Lilly Train's Coming Through

When you hear the name Ted Lilly, you probably think "crafty lefty, decent stuff, a good middle rotation guy." But when I think Ted Lilly, I think of two words: Bad. Ass. Oh, that’s funny to you, is it? That I’d think some fleshy, unathletic looking pitcher would strike fear in hearts of fellow ballplayers? Fine then, watch this video from last night’s game against the Cardinals and you tell me who the badass is.

That’s right, Yadier Molina, Lilly isn’t gonna just prance down the line and let you tag him out 10 feet short of the plate. No sir, he’s gonna run you over ... and knock you out of the game. Yep, Molina had to leave three innings later with a leg injury and is expected to miss a few games.

(Big thanks to Meech at The Fightins for the assist on the video.)
