↵⇥"As far as where the Raiders are going, they have unrealistic ideas about what their people can do. ... ↵⇥↵Based on their embarrassing performance on national television Monday night, I’d say Sapp is stating fact, not opinion here. The Raiders are indeed going to suck in ways so epic that only last season’s Dolphins can wrap their brains around it. ↵
↵⇥"That was the experience I had in the four years I was there. They asked people to do stuff they were physically impossible of doing. ... ↵⇥↵⇥
↵⇥"They’re going to suck." ↵⇥↵
↵But Sapp wasn’t finished. He saved his best material for Oakland cornerback DeAngelo Hall, who was absolutely humiliated by fellow Hokie Eddie Royal in the rookie’s first NFL game: ↵↵
↵⇥"DeAngelo Hall has been getting burnt since he was in Atlanta. This is nothing new. DeAngelo Hall is the flashiest, burnt-up corner in the history of the game. He gets burnt more than anyone else, and he all of a sudden is this great Pro Bowl cover corner. I never saw that in DeAngelo Hall. He would gamble and do everything unsound on the corner." ↵↵I don’t know, Warren, "burnt" seems a bit extreme. After all, Hall only gave up 146 yards on nine catches to a rookie. Oh, and he had 30 yards worth of unsportsmanlike like penalties on one drive. But this was probably just an anomaly for Hall. I mean, we’ve never seen him single-handedly cost his team a game like this before, right?↵
