So, there's a lot of Doppler activity down in southeastern Texas. It has bumped an NFL game, postponed a WNBA playoff game (!!!), and delayed two games between the Chicago Cubs: Team of Destiny and Houston Astros, the team that laughs at your Destiny. The MLB season is winding down with little opportunity to make up delayed games. As such, MLB bosses set up a plan for the 'Stros and Cubbies to visit Milwaukee for the three-game set."That is way premature," club owner Drayton McLane said Friday night. "The Commissioner has agreed to see how Houston fares after the storm hits. That would be midday [Saturday]. No decision will be made until then."Who can blame them? Turning a home series at oddball Minute Maid into a set at a park that'd be filled with Cubs fans ... that's not fair, considering what's at stake. Houston's alternate plan is to wait until this evening to see if Minute Maid can host two on Sunday and the series finale on Monday.
