Heyyyy, Ladies: Padres Get Their Sexy on

The Padres are having a pathetically bad season. And by “pathetically bad,” I mean “worse than the Nationals,” which is really saying something. So what’s the best way to take out your frustrations if you’re a veteran on a potential 100-loss team? Haze the rookies, naturally. And that’s exactly what they did yesterday when they made 16 youngin’s dress like this:

Those might look like sexy, voluptuously well-endowed young Hooters girls, but don’t be deceived, friends: those are men, man. I know, hard to believe, right? But the photo shoot on the field wasn’t the end of it for the rookies. They also had to wear the outfits during the flight from San Diego to D.C.

No word on whether or not they’ll have to wear the Hooters outfits during the three-game weekend set with the Nationals or not. It would certainly be a good way to get people out to the park in Washington to watch two teams with a combined record of 116-189. There is something at stake here, however. The winner of this series might avoid ending the season with the worst record in baseball.
