Artest Gets His Head Ready for Rockets

Let me school some of you on the way hair works. I know you probably think it's huge, and really zany, that Ron Artest has gotten his new team's logo shaved in the side of his head. After all, that's like, something you do when you lose a drunk bet about making bets while drunk. But this is hardly the first time Artest has worn his heart on, well, his skull. There was the infamous Tru Warier look, and the "King" 'do from last season, which may just have referred to Artest himself.

Far from offering further evidence that Artest is a madman, here we find Ron Ron just taking up a retro trend whose time has returned. Peep the cover of 3rd Bass's The Cactus Album for a historical point of reference; yes, dudes are white, but they had their finger on the pulse. By the way, compare Artest's hairstyles to Kanye West's goofy headside endorsement of Fendi. You tell me, who's the crazier one between the two?
