The Mature Adam Jones Parleys With the Media

Adam Jones has displayed his growing maturity as a player on numerous occasions this season with the Dallas Cowboys. He's been punctual, hard-working, and a benign presence in the lockerroom. He has made no appearances of note in local strip clubs, and has been a quiet, responsible member of the Cowboys overall.

Edit: Remove the quiet bit, please. After Jones was asked what he thought of the Eagles extremely productive day in the air against the Rams, he said this:

"They played the Rams, dude," Pacman said.

Let's save you some time. First, a talking head will report this. Then, two talking heads will debate this up in PTI-style. References to "disrespect" and other words said talking heads cannot even define clearly will be used to describe how extremely well-paid grown man will fell about one guy pointing out an obvious fact: for the moment, the Rams pass defense is doing its best imitation of a WAC squad's best efforts on the pro level. Then, your local 400 pound talk radio DJ will attempt to get an idiot near a phone agitated enough to call in and say essentially the same thing one or both of the guys on the PTI-style show said. Idiots near phones will oblige, lowering the nation's productivity and upping their own blood pressure unnecessarily.

Then, in 48 hours or so, everyone will forget about this, and the Rams' pass defense will still be terrible, and the Mature Adam Jones will still be right and making millions of dollars to play football. See? The Sporting Blog: Saving you time and wasted outrage for over six months running.
