Just When You Thought Parkour Was Done ...

I thought of parkour -- or as you vulgar Americans call it, "free-style walking" -- as being soooo 2005, a fad done for in the eyes of the sports hipster. But then, every now and then, someone comes along and reinvigorates a sport as no one else can, a force of physical grace and talent so transcendent it borders on the artistic. Parkour is not dead, dear reader -- no, not as long as this anonymous street poet of the feet is roaming the avenues and parks of the world looking to push the envelope of what we consider humanly possible.

Okay, so the landing on the car jump lacked skill. He can learn skill. He can't ever unlearn the passion though, people.

That video would have been better if he accidentally wandered out into the desert and was disemboweled by leftover Manson Family followers.

First off, I, for one  (an American) have never referred to it as "free-style walking."

Also, parkour was never near dead.  There are websites full of videos of Traceurs (practicioners) and Traceur networking websites, such as Urbanfreeflow and Americanparkour.com.  It’s still practiced widely throughout all of the world, and will not be "dead" for many, many years.
