I wonder why the Nets are suddenly generating all this added interest from corporate sponsors. Why now, you know? Maybe it’s Devin Harris’ emergence? Or maybe sponsors are just that excited about Terrence Williams’ versatility?
Or maybe it’s their impending move to Brooklyn. Yeah, that sounds right. And the move, set to take place in 2011, has garnered 10 new corporate sponsors, and prompted 20 others to renew their relationships with the Nets. Quite a coup for a cash-strapped team in a cash-strapped league. In a slumping economy, mind you.
And you wonder why Lebron thinks he could make more money moving to New York City…
