It all seemed too good to be true for the Wizards. SBN’s Bullets Forever posted earlier today “Something is Wrong”… because everything is going right for the Wizards. Ah, but we all forgot the Curse of Les Boulez. To wit:
Arenas watched two scrimmages this afternoon. Jogging with a slight hint of a limp.
Does it matter that Arenas was later seen shooting jumpers, having a 3-point contest with Randy Foye, and that Flip said it was his finger, not his leg, that kept him out of the scrimmgage? Nope. Either way, be on high alert, Wiz fans: if success seems too good be true, it usually is.
(Note: I let out an audible sigh of relief when I heard it was his finger. Please stay healthy, Gil. Oh, and tip of the hat to WHO? Mike Jones!)
