In football. Duke dominated NC State in football. It happened in large part because of Thaddeus Lewis, who had four hundred and fifty-nine passing yards, 5 touchdowns, and no turnovers. The Blue Devils won 49-28. Jon Scheyer still sucks, but the effort’s worthy of commendation.
And yes, on the same day that another ACC quarterback had just about the worst game you could possibly imagine, a quarterback from Duke threw for 459 yards and 5 touchdowns. And he ran for a TD, too? God.
It’s now 12:45 am on the East Coast and Georgia Tech just finished off FSU. The score? 49-44, as the two teams, one of which runs the wishbone, combined for more than 1,000 yards of offense. The ACC makes no sense.
