As previously noted on SBNation.com, Alex Ovechkin does whatever he wants. He drives Zambonis down New York streets. He nearly decapitates himself and teammates in golf carts. And he wins Hart Trophies as the NHL's most valuable player.
As part of a season ticket holder event, the Washington Capitals took a trip to Six Flags today. Ovechkin was in top form, riding the roller coasters, claiming the Batmobile as his own, and picking up a new hobby, guaranteed to make Caps fans everywhere pass out from oxygen deprivation as they hold their collective breath hoping their superstar doesn't severely injure himself: bungee jumping.
He really is entertaining and his carefree ways are part of his charm, but for the sake of Capitals fans everywhere, please Ovie, find a hobby that DOESN'T put you at greater risk than playing hockey.
