Scalper Takes Negotiating Seriously in Miami

Monday Night Football is probably a big deal for scalpers. If you're a scalper in any given city, seeing your NFL team show up on the MNF schedule means big profit for at least one week out of the year in all likelihood. I'm not sure that means that negotiations should become so contentious that you end up stabbing a potential customer:
Two men -- a scalper and a potential buyer -- were arguing over the price of tickets, according to Sgt. Bill Bamford, a Miami Gardens police spokesman.

"While trying to renegotiate the price, an argument ensued, and they got into a physical fight,'' Bamford said.

The scalper pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed the man in the chest and back of the head.

The man trying to buy tickets was airlifted out with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Meanwhile, investing in Sunday NFL Ticket to avoid the absolute psychopaths going to NFL games lately looks like a better option every week.

(Oh, and if you missed it, the Dolphins won the game on a Ronnie Brown TD with :06 remaining, 31-27.)

Crazy!!! There shouldn’t have been any negotiation. The ticket was supposed to be face value. Anything other than that and the buyer should have moved on.
