Granted, it’s only the preseason, but Michael Beasley—fresh off a summer filled with controversy, criticism, and eventually, rehab—played just about a perfect game for the Heat last night, yet another sign that he’s prepared to move forward in the wake of this summer’s setbacks. He scored 24 points on 9-13 shooting, while adding 4 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block.
SBN’s Heat blog, Peninsula is Mightier, has more on Beasley’s big night, and while it’s only preseason and nothing’s official, it certainly looks like Mike’s well on his way to redemption.
