Tyson and Holyfield to Meet on Oprah

↵Clearly buoyed by the ratings and the attention Mike Tyson's appearance ↵on Oprah garnered on Monday, it's been announced that on Friday Tyson ↵will return, and this time he'll be joined by his former nemesis (and ↵human snack), Evander Holyfield. ↵
↵
↵On Monday's show, when asked about Holyfield, Mike said that the ↵two of them had seen each other here and there over the years, but ↵never really met or talked about what happened between them in the ↵ring. Tyson said that he'd always want to shake his hand and apologize ↵for biting his ear off in their 1997 rematch, but that there were ↵always other people around and the time never felt right. ↵

↵And Oprah, with her fail-safe radar for contrived emotion, said to herself, "Oh word?" ↵
↵
↵I wrote a pretty emotional piece ↵about Tyson on Oprah that I ran here at The Rumble on Tuesday, and that ↵piece got a lot of attention and prompted many comments and emails to ↵me. On a few levels, I feel like the piece was misunderstood, the main ↵one being the idea that because I wrote this kind of material about ↵Tyson being on Oprah, that I really liked the show, or like this kind of entertainment in general.
